Today is here and tomorrow's never guaranteed

Successfully deleted 3000 plus mails from my inbox and I'm left with another 4000 plus. Ya, i have 7000+ emails in my inbox.

I don't read my mails since two years ago? So, those who sent me emails that require me to send back... ermmm.. SORRY. Not that I'm not your friend or I don't love you and so I don't send back.

Cos' as you know some of the mails end with.. TELL YOUR FRIENDS THAT YOU LOVE THEM AND CARE FOR THEM.. SEND TO ___(INSERT NUMBER OF PEOPLE TO SEND) TO TELL THEM YOU REALLY CARE AND THEY MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE....

SO ON AND ON...

Ya.. sometimes it's my fault for being lazy as well. =X

~~~~~~~~~
My mum has been concerning about my soon-to-be life in UK as if she's the one going. LOL.. So kan chiong. She keeps telling me to learn some cooking skills from her and learn how to cook some chinese dishes. At least the simple ones. I told her that I'm gonna live in boarding school and they will cook for us plus it's not confirmed yet that I'll go. Hope I'll pass medical check *cross fingers*
So I learn one particular dish and wish to share with my you all. You can try it. =)
Step by step instructions so it will be easier.
First, prepare few pairs of chopsticks(amount of chopsticks is according to one's amount of consumption). For me, I'll choose say, 10 pairs of chopsticks.
Then cut the chopsticks to any length you want it to be
It will look something like this.
Put the cut chopsticks into the water and boil it.
After boiling, chopsticks will float as shown below.
Put some salt, pepper and seasoning...
Stir and add also tapioca powder(can be bought in supa save)
Add baking powder as well...
Add colouring( made from plants so it's healthy)...
Boil it again...
Put them into vacuum jar.
Keep it away from the sun
After one day, take it out.
They are softened as shown below.
Empty the vacuum jar.
The just cook it with chicken and vegetables.
TADA...YOU HAVE YOUR KWAY TIAW.. READY TO BE SERVED.
Easy? Try it out
And tell me if it works.
HAHAHAHA.. Actually i didn't cook it. If you really believe that i cooked it then you should bang your head on the wall. Joking.
I received this email and find it interesting. Interesting things should be shared and not keep it. Some of you might have read it somewhere. This actually happen in China(I was thinking Japan). Don't blame chinese from China for being so smart. They can do anything just to get money. Money is the root of all evil, no? Even eggs can be imitated by them, what more do you wanna say?YES.. EGGS!!!.... I wonder how..
So, whoever is planning to go China. Just be extra careful. The world is not a safe place anymore. Beware of rat meat instead of chicken meat on your plate. Or maybe the pau with papers filling? the curry with lizards? Monkeys' brains? soy sauce made from human hair? milk with melamine? eating discarded KFC bought on streets? ohh and wad did i just read? Eating dead babies as their culture.. hmmm.. interesting... some gotta be urban legend.. Or should we just believe it..
You're not alone
Only when a person is dead, he seems to worth more than when he was alive.
Agree.
Before, you digged every single scandals he had and now? You say every good things about him.
Hey, playboy. It's about time. Your time's up.
PEOPLE PEOPLE PEOPLE....
HI, This is my first post for JULY.
Not in the mood to blog lately. =(
Anyways, today is my mum's birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!
love you always. :)
~~~~~~~~~

As many of you know, we(3 of us) have gotten the scholarships and have been through the medical checkup.

I wasn't afraid of the procedure but the results. =S

Have to do lotsa catch-up with friends before i go and that is if i really am going.

For future scholars, let me tell you what did I go through for medical checkup. Hmmm...

First i went to check my eyesight. Check whether i'm colour blind and also whethr i can read clearly the letters on the wall(you know when the size of the letters are getting smaller).

Then next I went to the lab to get injected and have my blood sample. There were two person(nurse kali) helping me. They kept touching and touching my hand for a very long time and couldn't find my vein? Then one of them asked the other while touching my hand,"tulang kah ni?" Then i laughed la. LOLS OMG I'm not that skinny OKAYS? My hand is fat yo, Benny will know.

They took four bottles of my blood. It was so cool to see your own blood coming out from you body in a large amount. My blood was not so dark and not so bright. I like the colour. I like red!! fen fen and hong hong will know. When you combine their names, it becomes fenhong and fenhong in chinese is PINK. Then the person in the lab also gave me three bottles, two for urine and one for faeces. I pee-d on the spot( as in the toilet in the lab) and as for faeces, erhem, it just wasn't the right time. =X

Ok, then next went to X-ray room. Ok, I had to remove all my clothes in my upper body including singlet and bra. Then all jewellery off your body and tied up my hair. It was weird for me cos i've never been through X-ray before. Then there's this man who look through the x-ray thingy, was still eating brownies. =.= Made me feel hungry saja.

Then to check my heart. I never think my heart is healthy. =/ When my name was called, i feel my steps becoming heavier and heavier while walking towards the room. I was told to lay down on the bed, then the nurse pulled my shirt up until above my chest. Then sticked weird stickers on my body. The stickers were cold on my body. Just so you know, I'm very afraid of tickles. NEVER EVER TICKLE ME. I can jump. So, it was a hard one for me. I was trying hard to resist the coldness and the ticklish feeling.

Then next check my ear, it was a quick one. Everyone should pass this. LOLS. Then went to berakas to check my teeth. They didn't even check, the dentist just signed and thats all. Then to kiarong to have my mantoux test. It was already 4pm when my dad fetched me from berakas to kiarong. Then i was thinking the clinic will be closed around that time but then my dad asked me to try so i went there instead of going home. Luckily, when i reached there, there was one nurse downstairs cleaning up and preparing to go home i guess? Then i asked her where can i have my mantoux test taken. Then she said 2nd floor and there i go, second floor. Then there were two men, one old and one young. They kinda looked like they are going home then saw me. Then i gave him my form and the old one just told the young one to do the mantoux test for me. YAY, I'm happy. I did everything in a day.

The young one was like saying i was so lucky and stuffs and asked me which country am i going then i said UK.. Then proceed to the room and when he open the refrigerator, ngam ngam there was one injection needle left. Then he said to me, "You're really lucky, this last one is for you" I was like okay and smiling happily. LOLS. The conversation,

him: is this your first time doing this?
me: ya
him: oh inda pernah kah? boleh cakap melayu kah?
me: ermm.. ya..
him: skulah mana kan?
me: Maktab sains
him: ohh.. (while preparing to inject) are you scared?
me: no
him: ok, this takes a while only. Just underneath your skin. Don't worry ah.
me: ok
him: If you feel itchy or something, don't scratch and put any lotions or cream ah.
me: ok

Then when everything is done, he told me to go on saturday cos' they wanna see the reaction then can write the report. As for now, it's not itchy at all. Hmm, then i quickly walked down as my dad was waiting for me. I saw him outside the car instead of inside waiting for me. AND IT WAS RAINING. Guess what was he doing? killing coackroaches by stepping on them. ROFL. I think he was trying to be "MAN" in front of the nurses. LOL... The nurses were like screaming and avoiding the coackroaches of different sizes. I guess it was because of the rain and the coackroaches came out. haha........

Then home sweet home. =)

~~~~~~~~~~~
I was talking with Mei about the topic piercings. Then i asked her where is the other body part she would do piercing other than ear. She said around the eyebrow.
Something like that. She thinks it's cool.
So what about me? I definitely wont choose anything to do with my face.
I think nape piercing is cool. It's at the back of your neck.
Like this
I just find it cool. I won't do it.
How about tongue piercing? hmmm... When i went to singapore, then hong met her maple friend. She has tongue piercing. I asked her whether it's painful or not and she said no. She said actually any piercings are not painful at all lar. LOLS.. like her personality.
tongue piercing
As if you think tongue piercing isn't cool enough. LET ME SHOW YOU SOMETHING.
Some people can be so extreme.
Maybe someone should really try to do something to their mouth. ZIP their mouth, literally. I haven came across in pictures la. THAT'LL BE SO COOL and definitely a HEAD-TURNER. Attention-seeking much.
I end this post with a picture.
Tattoo your tongue. Anyone? lololol
Oh, and what is the other part of your body that you would want to pierce but won't do it?
2nd camp
Hey peeps... here i am again... it's been ages since my last post.. well... since huiyi already declare
about the scholarship then i wont comment too much on it... overall.. i m just grateful that i got it... i understand what a great opportunity it is.. however there are still a lot of great opportunities for the other great people out there..
so now we are enjoying the unexpected and extended holiday... my 1st two weeks of holiday were fun.. i went to two camps and they were worthwhile.. as for the extended extra holiday it was a little more jobless...  the second camp was in a forest reserve... so there bugs and spiders bugging us.. and yes spider i meant real spider! those hairy huge spider which sent all the girls in the dorm scrambling up the bed... the spider however was killed by my fellow roommate who was brave enought to rid the poor spider of all its eight legs.. one by one... =P..  while all the others girls were up on top of the upper bunk of the bed or nowhere near the spider...
through the camp also i saw swan with its duckling for the 1st time... hahaha.. this might sound foolish but i have never really seen swans with its duckling and little ducklings... and the ducklings are actually CUTE...! so why do people call it UGLY duckling? should be cute duckling.. hehe...
So overall the two camps were FUN and meaningful.. =D
I think that all i want to say for now...
with love,
snow
THANK GOD!!!!!!!!
I'm soo happy right now!!! filled with joy and happiness that it's all flowing out of me.. teehee.. well i'm proud to say that i received the MOE call on Saturday and attended the scholarship briefing on Monday.. =) well the plus point is that.. the chinese girl gang (sharon, jo, oli, anna, fiona, cheryl) all got the scholarhip also!!!!
so.. this calls for a celebration.. lol.. i'm really happy and thankful.. but my life is like hectic now.. drawing up the TO DO LIST before leaving Brunei... and also the TO GET/DO/BRING OVER LIST.. lol!!! i hope i dont leave anything out if not it'll be really troublesome...
school holidays has been lengthened due the the swine flu epidemic now.. well it's not getting any better with the long school hols.. that might be the problem cause all the school students won't stay home.. they'd rather go to mall to lepak-lepak.. i wonder why the government would think that we'll stay home... LOL!!!
i think there's already a total of 60++ swine flu cases... yesterday itself, there were already 24 cases being reported!!! eventhough the sickness 'arrived' in Brunei quite late.. but once it did.. it's been spreading non-stop!!
the scholars have to take care their health condition.. cause if anything goes wrong, the government will have the power and the will to terminate it all...
IT'LL BE SNATCHED FROM YOUR GRASP!!!
oooo.. i've been baking again!!!
=)
to be more exact... baking egg tarts??? lol.. it turned out good... but it wasn wat i expected.. as in the crust.. i wanted a flaky crust but it turned out diff.. am going to search for other recipes again..
back..
PEOPLE... I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH.
I'm finally back in Brunei.
Guess what am i doing now?
I'm wearing a mask at home. LIKE WTH? You might say.
Ya... something like that.
MY DEAREST SISTER GAVE THE MASK TO ME AND TOLD ME TO WEAR IT.
She said I just came back from affected country, Singapore. I went to miri as well. So, I'm exposed to the h1n1 virus. OKOK fine, I'll wear it.
The symptoms might come late after you're infected with the virus. After 3 days or up to a week, you never know. SO YA LOR.
Just hope I don't have any breathing difficulties lar sis. =.=
simple facts in life...
It's the E.N.D to my dental attachment days.. I dont know whether this calls for a celebration or not.. Well since its done with, now i have practically nothing much to do anymore.. I think that i should start with my assignments but i am in no mood to pick up a pen n start thinking.. This line contradicts with d fact tat i have been playing pictionary.. Its amazingly n unbelievably addictive..
I wonder whether my nights of insomnia will start from today.. Because normally, its due to the fact that i have SO much energy stored that am unable to fall asleep.. Well this normally happens during d hols.. A phone-calling-buddy will really come in handy at times like this.. what I mean by the term a 'phone-calling-buddy' is the type of friend who you can really talk to, by just calling 'em..
well you may think that everyone is suitable to hold this honourable position... but truthfully there are many ppl out there in the world who has the difficulty to converse through a phone call.. this maybe due to the fact that they have to see their partner's face while talking..
the face may play as.... like a catalyst? (lol).. quickening their pace of thoughts and their conversation.. but there are also ppl who, once they look at your face all their thoughts have been tipex-ed (erased).. are they blinded by your beauty?? or by the fact that you look scary??
i have no idea.. well i've never really actually encountered that type of person who can talk endlessly over the phone.. well i think my longest phone call was about 2 hours ++?? but it then came to a halt due to the late hours.. or was it cause we came to the part of awkward silence..
well there's another type.. they stop talking not because they dont have anything to say.. but because the call is getting tooo long and they are thinking of the cost of the call that makes them say "i've got to go now.. sooo byee" or "my mom's nagging /calling for me.. i cant talk anymore.. bye".. OR they might not even have the guts to say those and just hang-up..
while you're on the other side of the line, waiting for the person which hanged-up on you to call back... but they NEVER DO!!! the next time u talk to them or text them and you bring up this fact that you were waiting, they'll be like... "i thought you were the one who hanged-up on me.. I WAS WAITING FOR YOUR CALL!!!" but in fact it was all a lie......
well, no offense to anyone who has ever done this in their lives before.. at least you realised you're at fault right??? (hahaha)
i know this post maybe really draggy but its cause i'm bored.. hehe.. i always am, aren't i??? =D currently, am watching ' 1 litre of tears' which is a japanese drama based on a true story.. actually its also made into a japanese movie.. i highly recommend it to ppl who are up to the challenge of keeping your eyes dry from tears (i cant bet.. it's impossible).. it's really sad but it's like a fact in life that we never realise is true... it makes me realise how thankful i am for who i am and what i have...
anyone who is not cherishing life now, you should go watch it at http://www.mysoju.com/1-litre-of-tears/
*emiko*
ps. am really looking forward to the karaoke & pictionary game tomoro!!
pps. am really looking forward to faw's party on sunday!!!!
a random pic to make the post less boring.. =D
the speaker's session was nice.. he is a very passionate person.. loud at times... overall the message was nice... :)
the game was challenging as well.. a lot of team work needed... i was blinded in one of the game and hafta move all over the campus.. it was not easy i had to admit.. need to listen to direction from other member but luckily i had a nice leader in front of me.. so that makes it a lot easier. We played water balloon too but my balloon didnt hit the target... lol..
the most challenging part was perhaps the bed! we had to sleep on hard concrete floor.. much harder than the gym floor during kem.q!
JENESYS reunion
16 june 2009
JENESYS had a reunion just now... but less than half of us turned up.. busy schedule.. we are all busy people with different lives... it was hard to get everyone together.. but at least we met=D
so we watched this movie- blood.. it was not so bad... but then there was a few spoilers sitting behind us.... during all the sad and touching part.. they were laughing!! even the nice and exciting actions seem hilarious..  and i had to pity the poor monster they were laughing at... I kept turning my head to signal the people... but well.. signal not strong enough.. they still keep laughing... so yeah.. if you cant beat them you join them.. in the end.. i laughed with them... =P
the movie was full of action which was good.. but then i didnt catch the moral of the story..  the whole movie was.. kill kill kill.. slaying here... slaying there.. blood all the way.. and the ending was... huh? nani? waaat? =S
after the movie huiyi went home.. leaving me with kamal alif izzat and nauzah... after visiting the arcade... we went down and alif lanja us DQ.. lol.. we agreed on the small sized blizzard but then there isnt any left so we got d medium ones in the end... not your luck lif =P thanks btw..
hehe
after the treat my car came right on time and i left.. =)
snow
I know you want me.
I wanted to blog about the ba zhang day and pars' party but since Hui yi blogged first then I'll just add some more pictures to it. Those who don't have our facebook can have a look at the pictures here.
Before that, I want to say the pretty girl is 18th now. Aiyo, still cant believe la. Lols... Soon it will be my turn. T.T
Oli's bday cake. I love it. A few weeks ago, I was on a diet. But in the end, I still gave in to this.
All the girls. Mei wasn't here.
Put this picture cos birthday girl looks *hiao* HAHAHAH
So, I really enjoy that night. We learn lotsa pic-up lines. Good ones and bad ones. Then stayed over at oli's house. Had girls' chat and karaoke session. Mostly old songs. OHH i almost forgot, steamboat with tom yam soup is really GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. Two thumbs up. I like the lamb too. Speaking of food, I can be the next case of famine.
After this, it's the ba zhang day. I went to Gp class late with Sab. We were waiting for our delivery. Then, sharon they all have to deliver my mcflurry and sab's fries all the way to our class. Thanks!!! As i was happily eating, I heard teacher saying "Lunch time is over, please concentrate on reading the paper i have given you.... lalalalalalalalalalla".
Obviously, she's saying us la. So i quickly dump everything into my mouth.
Then it's par's party. It was yet another great party i've had. I dressed up to be a vampire.
We're suppose to look very fierce but i was smiling.
So, in this picture Hui Yi is smiling.
All of us not smiling and act fierce.
This picture is so vampire-ish... NICE.
Our killer heels. All black.
Then we had this dare game. It was quite fun seeing others doing the dare but when it's your turn. It's gonna be nightmare yo.
One of my dares is to wear an underwear on my head.
Then hui yi had to use the toilet paper to make a tube top.
She had to suck her thumb and cry like a baby. Lols.
I had to wear the kick me sign on my forehead and qi hong with her joker face.
Us with the birthday girls. Their outfit are sexay.
They guys played twister. I will play if only i didn't wear skirt.
Finale of the night
~~~~

I'm sick. =( At first, it was just coughing. Then fever and coughing like mad. I wanted to go for seasonal flu injection in ong sum ping then the nurse said cannot cos i have fever. My degree was 37.8. I think it's reduced to 36.5 now. Happy.. =) Then instead of going for the injection with Sab, i went to see doctor. So I have four kinds of medicine to take. Paracetamol is one of them, obviously. I'm feeling better now. I hope i will be ok by the time i depart from brunei to sg. 3 more days. Excited. =D

This everyday love~

this is the first post i've posted for june.. =D and its already hols!!!! time travels sooooo fast.... i have to complain that it's june already.. well, the government said that the scholarship will be out by mid may- ish???? and IT'S MAY ALREADY!!!!!!! still waiting.................

i know it's been a long time but i didn have the time/mood to blog... hehehe.. sorry..... anyways.. nearly everything that happened was well taken care by the other blog owners (jo/sharon) =D

lots of thanks and love goes out to them...

well.. so i will just fill in bits of pieces that were left out....

a long way back... we celebrated DUMPLING DAY!!!! it's more like a chinese festival thing that specifically on this day at noon-ish... an egg can be balanced on it's tip.. which is impossible on a normal day.. i think it's thanks to the gravitational pull??? err.. location of the moon??? lol.. i have no scientific explanation to support the evidence i have.. =D we did this at the carpark behind school during CCA time.. it was really funny cause every car that passed by stopped to see what the gang of crazy chinese ppl are going... there were also ppl who dropped by to join in the egg balancing fun!!!

err.. there was a party that we (me/jo) attended.. to be more specific, Par's (sar/far) party... it was held at TT Blues and i think it was supposed to be till like mignight-ish??? but we left earlier.. b'cause we didn't have transport so had to tumpang mei's car back... before we went for the party we gathered at mei's hse... to get ready... LOL!!!!!

it was more like a time for picking out what to wear and also time for putting on some makeup... the overcoat i was wearing belonged to JO and also my eyes makeup was done by JO!!! so
THANKS LOTS!!!! >.<
if u know me, i dont actually own anything that is close to the theme of the party.. which is Vampire / Sweet Tooth... LOL!!!! such a contrast between those two... yet it was difficult for me to fit in.. =s

Wen Zhi wanting to be more involved in the theme... with EYE MAKEUP!!!!

we (all three) attended a workshop which lasted for about 3 days.. third day was spent at KB *OGDC*.. hhmmm.. it think it was supposed to help us like mentally??? and errr.. in terms of forming teams with unknown ppl and teamwork and leadership kind of stuff.. it was fun... i mean we built our own water rocket thing which was based on our plain physics knowledge... and my group's (no.3 - no comment) rocket was really good!!! it flew extremely far (above-expectations) and the egg (astraunaut sub) didn't crack (die) =D

today is the first day of hols... and guess how i'm going to spend my first week of hols???????

ATTACHMENT AT DENTAL CENTRE!!!!!

it's not completely bad i guess.. errr.. today went really great actually.. i met up with two dental doctors who are really friendly.... funny... PATIENT!!!! lol... errr.. they entertained me n rachel on our time there...

i had the honour to witness about 7 extractions (1 wisdom tooth extraction) lots of fillings done... one thing i learnt today was don't judge a book by it's cover... well this idiom is from a different angle... there was this girl who was real pretty.. the was she dressed and she wasn't overweight or anything... slim figure.. slim thighs and everything.... but when she opened her mouth it was like &^%#@!*# ... she had two rotten teeth to be extracted and she din even have a full set of teeth.... the sad part is she is still YOUNG!!!!

errrr..... when hols ends and then school reopens, mocks will start... which i really really dread!!!!! i mean i'm in no mood for studying.. m still left waiting and like without closure on the scholarship issue...

so that's it i guess.. =D

sayornara.....

*emiko*

ps. was listening to a song and i suddenly started quesntioning myself... "how do i love someone, without getting hurt??".. so anyone with any tips, DO fill me in... =D
