York Dungeon

My housemistress and people who are in charge of the school house and college house organised a weekend activity for boarders. We went to York Dungeon. It's a tourist attraction. York dungeon is kinda like a place where "actor or actress" tell stories or history about York. It can be a scary place for the faint hearted, it might be quite a interesting place for those who like history or something and a boring place for the people who want something more challenging. I find it not bad and not that scary. I want something more SCARY please. Somewhere that i can really scream and cry cos i freak out or something.

Planning to go down to London this half term and definitely going to London Dungeon. Hopefully it's more interesting than York Dungeon.

Before going in, feeling really scared. (ya right)

seniors and us.

Inside the york dungeon:

One of the actors

He is a surgeon and you have to see how he put his hand into the corpse's body and dig out intestine and liver and whatever. AND AND AND actually licked it. It's not real corpse, duh. BUT it looked disgusting.

We weren't suppose to take picture. This actor gave us permission to take a picture of him(above).

This is fake btw.

That is all we took in the dungeon. There were more different parts inside like talking about Dick Turpin, the court, some ways of torturing prisoners in the past, etc.

End with a picture we took in the york dungeon as in the camera in the dungeon. After touring York dungeon, we can choose to buy the picture or not. One for 6 pounds and two for 10 pounds.

I was holding an axe but the camera didn't took it. And hey, take a look at Kidah's expression...

Out.

Hari raya celebration

SELAMAT HARI RAYA TO EVERY MUSLIM OUT THERE.

I celebrate raya here in Uk as well with my seniors, faizah and kidah.

We were having lotsa fun by gathering in seniors' room and eat all the kuih.

TAPAK KUDA IS DAMN NICE.

I can eat the whole roll.

Today is monday kan? GUESS WHAT?

We all wear baju kurong to school. ><

Everyone is looking at us like we're aliens trying to invade their territory or something.

Then keep asking questions that i don't really know how to answer.

Who am i to answer anyway? I was a bit reluctant when I'm asked to wear baju kurong. In the end, I find it alright; just a lil bit more attention on you.

Pictures in seniors' room

Shy~~

Me and my usual 'picture face'

Seniors and us. Quite a lot eh? 12 of us.

This is extra. Having dinner at chilli restaurant.

How i wish I'm in bhall celebrating hari raya with others. Oh well.. never mind.

Uk life

Ready, set, GOOOOOOOO...

Vivien, a friend from China and Akidah

Jane, a friend from China as well.

The four brunei girls.

Playing with the photobooth in gina's studies( study room). Each and one of us have different study rooms in the school.

For those who don't know, I'm in the UK now. I'm in The Mount School York. Everything is fine so far. I have great tutors, great environment, great weather(even though it gets extremely cold in winter, for now.. it's super cooling), great facilities, great whatever.

I joined cross country, badminton and photography as my CCA. First time running in a cooling weather unlike in brunei, all year round it's hot, hot and hot unless it's raining. I felt so shiok after running as i haven't been running for ages. Oh plus I'm getting fat. The fats have started to take residence around the stomach area. oh sheeez..

I have to get into bed by 10.30. No later than that except weekend. How i wish weekend to be here sooooooon. Tomorrow is friday and off we go to live in hotel. This weekend is our first dispersed weekend @exeats. I'm going to live in a hotel which cost me 80 pounds. I have no choice!!! I couldn go down to Brunei Hall as the train ticket is so EXPENSIVE. 100 plus pounds. Thats one of the disadvantages of being mounties(people studying in Mount school).

Well I'm still enjoying every moment here.

Miss warner(housemistress) has came to check up on us and i'm still using comp =S

Till then...

I cry cos' I'm happy
I cry cos' I'm sad
I cry cos I'm touched
I cry cos I'm angry
I cry cos' I'm in pain
I cry cos' I'm flying
I cry cos' I'm leaving
I cry cos' I'm emotional
I cry cos' I know i will miss you
I cry cos' I love you all who has been a part of my life.
I cried, am crying, will be crying.

No, don't stop a person from crying. The tears mean the most deepest and honestly feeling of heart; a way which people express their thanks, gratitude and appreciation to others which words are unable to replace.

The most important things are people who are around you.

Had a great week. A week filled with gatherings and parties and hang outs. Val had her farewell party last friday. BBQ!! I love the lamb.. Who can resist the meat? I mean seriously. It tasted too good with the peel fresh orange juice.. ahh.. I'm in heaven.. excuse the cloud of smoke which totally made me having difficulties opening my eyes cos' was wearing contact lens. All in all, it was still a great day. By the way, val's cousin, ah heng or something is soooo cute!!! It was his birthday that day. Lols.. I tried to carry him but failed!!! (weight is a bit above average for his age :X)

Before going to Val's bbq, we had a photoshoot at universal studio. Oh boy, never thought that photoshoot can be that tiring.. we took about 100 plus photos.

~Photos we took using our cameras(u can see the quality not that good, 12.1 megapixel only ah.. so ya)

Annabelle and me trying to act fierce(i'm giving that gl face)

These are previews only. I will get the real one soon.

I went to miri on saturday just to buy my one year supply of contact lens. I feel so happy having so many contact lens at one time. I have 8 pairs or more. Can't remember. I reached home at 6 plus then waited for the people who gathered at excapade to finish their dinner then drop by my house to fetch me to gabriel's house. It was Val's driver who fetched me and I'm so sorry to lead them to a dead end. Lols.. I thought i remember where is gab's house. Hahah.. Val's uncle was laughing when we reach the dead end. Gab's house was near the dead end.

3 of us and gab at the back.

Group pic with some people missing.(they were outside watching tv)

K.. till here. Will blog soon again. =)

heat... haze... race...

this post is really out dated but i think that it's worth posting.. LOL!!! well recently like a week ago? rui, sinyi,huijin & I joined the fitness zone race... IT WAS MISERABLE!! lol...

we ran/jogged/walked/limped and all other type of ways to get our butts to the finish line.. the race started from fitness zone... the heat wasn that bad but the haze wasn good at all.. it actually made our breathing more difficult.. so this is the route...

fitness zone (kiulap) ---> KACA (near ripas) ----> Royal Regalia ---> post office (bandar) ---> tasek lama ---> fitness zone (mall) ---> pasar (to eat ambuyat.. which tasted horribleee) ---> fitness zone (kiulap)

hmm.. i wonder how far is that... the ambuyat which our team was given was really bad.. it wasn even cooked well and it smelled and tasted like glue paste... *yuck* well a large proportion went into the bin.. we didnt exactly cheat but we found ways to get rid of the ambuyat.. it's like being imaginative? or isit creative? teehee

i'm just grateful that we didnt get last and we were able to complete all the tasks without using the cheats..

lol.. just being random! =)

i thought that everything is over but when i woke up the next day, i was in PAYNEEE.. my abdomen was like sore and whenever i coughed/sneezed, it hurt really bad.. and my ankle is sprained i think.. at least the pain is all gone now.. except my ankle though.. taking it's time to heal i guess.. hmm.. so that's it.. well mei zhu celebrated her bday the day before yesterday.. it was brought forward, so that joyful day will be covered by me or my other two comrades (jo / snow) LOL!!!

*emiko*

Dream as if you'll live forever

There are lots of things i haven't done. =(

Visa application cannot be done if there is no acceptance letter.

Some documents to be returned to the school.

And packing, things to buy and do.

T.T

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think my daddy is cool cos he asked me whether i use twitter or not. Haha. I didn't know he would know all this thing like facebook, twitter etc. I haven't even started using twitter then he told me to use. LOL
Exactly one week ago, I went to ICC cos there was food exhibition and right after that head to RBRC to learn cooking. Actually i just accompanied my cousin there. The chef is from Singapore and is known as chef Bob or chef scooter? Why scooter? It's because he actually ride on a motorbike and cook or sell his food? I don't know. Why not chef bike oh? hmmm..
I learn how to cook Beef rendang, ayam belado and punggol chilli crab. I'm more interested in the crabs recipe than others. Chef Bob has good sense of humour even though he is kinda big size but what he cooks is really nice. We get to eat the food after the cooking lesson.
I saw Sabrina there. I didn't expect her to be there as well. Lols. We both agree that the chilli crab is nice. Why is it called punggol chilli crab? Cos' of the addition of belajan. It's mouth-watering and definitely a must-try. The thought of it makes me hungry.
Love is in the air.. air.. air...
We were divided into groups and i was in the same group as Cheryl. Our three legged race was the fastest. Lols.. there goes our first 10 points. Then we had to build sandcastle.
Hui yi's
Oli's
Mine
In the end other groups got points while none of our groups won in this round. =( However, there was treasure hunt. I was asked to pick 3kg of dry leaves together with Cheryl. In the end, there was prize presentation. My group got number 3. Muahahahah.. Celebrated oli's birthday(inside joke). Had bbq and took group picture.
Then here comes our camwhoring session in the car.
Being able to camwhore is a talent... Lols..
