Yeaps... This post is supposed to be on 19th march 2009.

That day was also the last day of term 1. I was looking forward to holidays and tomorrow is the start of second term already. I'm also kinda scared cos' a lot of things will happen even if we don't want it to happen.


Anyways, I went to oli's house and waited for qi hong and headed to saloon to wash our hair.

Then after what seems to be like forever, we finally reached Hui yi's house for her party.

Oli, Mei, Qi hong, Sharon and I performed a dance called "pretty girl" by Kara, a korean group. We really hope Hui Yi like it, even though we used only a day to prepare and there were a lot of mistakes made by some of us which also includes me.

After 5 years of friendship, I know there were a lot of changes and there will be changes still. We can't avoid, we can't escape, we can't prevent it from happening. All I hope is for our friendship to last forever.

It would be really really x10000000000 COOL to attend each other's wedding. To see each other children growing up and to actually sit in a kopitiam/restaurant and chit chat about our youth. And "gone are the days" will be common phrase for us.HAHA.. Am I thinking way too far?

Anyways, what i wanna say is....

I REALLY LOVE YOU, HUI YI. =)

Earth Wind and Fire

Well the title of this post doesn't really have anything to do with what i'm going to post about...... BUT it's indirectly connected.. =D..

if you're not IGNORANT / DONT LIVE UNDER A ROCK, you guys will know that today is EARTH DAY.... so what do we do exactly on EARTH DAY?????? welll... in lots of countries including ours *BRUNEI*, we're planning to like save electricity by encouraging the public to switch off ALL electrical appliances by 8.30 pm.. this lasts for about an hour.. so we can survive the heat and everything.......



the good thing about this plan is that it's taking place during the hols plus on a sat night.. so we don't actually have homework or school / work tomoro.. unless you're like working in a public company or maybe even self-employed..... *am-not-sure-about-the-ppl-overseas-tho*


this post is sorta draggy and boring..... a main reason is cause am doing it for the sake of filling up my boredom.. XD.. some ppl will say that i'm trying to fill up the emptiness that i feel.. well i think that that's totally WRONG!!!! i mean the emptiness part.. =D cause i don't feel empty... i'm filled with emotions and guts and blah blah and etc... okay?????????? =p


this post is just a reminder to switch off the electricity to save electricity... to save the world???? to prevent global warming??? to allow us to live longer??? to be honest, everything and anything is sorta and indirectly connected.... our life and the decisions we make everyday....



if we decide to use leaded petrol, we die earlier........


if we decide to smoke, we'll have a higher risk in suffering lung cancer and die earlier...


if we decide to follow the figures of magazine models by NOT EATING, we'll suffer from either bulimia or anorexia and die earlier......




WELL IF U NEED ME TO POINT IT OUT, EVERTHING IS CONNECTED TO DEATH..... but don't let this discourage you, just be more optimistic and live life to it's fullest..... if you always wanted to go scuba diving, THEN GO!!! if u always wanted to go free falling, THEN GO!!!!!

hey... so i'm really really bored right now.. and you know what i do when i'm bored??? huh?? i go view other ppl's blogs.. XD its not that interesting just reading on how other ppl's lives are.. so one blog led me to another and then i found this link...

Kem Q V

hello people...

how many times have you came to this blog and find no updates?

Anyway we're back from Kem Qiadah..

Kem Q was not bad but i prefer kem Q masa my batch.

Menyawang is always the best in my heart, was really a great team, right hui yi? xDD

This time round it wasn't that bad and overall fun and once again learnt something out of this camp.

xDD..

It's mixed feelings. Any feelings u name it, yeaps it's all in Kem Q.




First day went to school at 6 plus. When we reached school, many people were already there. Like so semangat!!

Went to register our names.

Proceed to auditorium for the opening ceremony.



Then had breakfast.

After having breakfast

Had this ice-breaking thing and gather with the group members.

I belong to Tibadak group. Hean says the drawing look like wen zhi. When i take a second look, i agree.. Anyways, Zhi is our group leader. =D

In the afternoon, we started on the camp craft and building our camp.

Second day went to the police station.

We did,
1) morning exercise
2) marching
3) went to their museum

The best part is when i took the gun and was ready to shoot, guess wad? no bullet. dang....

At night, we all wore red shirt and get ready for BSB rendezvous, explored bandar. It was very fun and exciting cos' it was at night. LOL..

Third day, we went to Bukit Shahbandar and had our ultimate challenge. Climbing the hills and doing all the tasks given. There were 16 checkpoints. The easiest checkpoint is when we were asked to read the anagram at checkpoint no 14 , "OTW REMO HESKCOPCINT OT OG" obviously it's two more checkpoints to go la.. haha...

Then in the afternoon, had this outdoor activity, "cooking for survival". Love this to max even though there were smoke everywhere which i really dislike. The outcome was worth it. I was really semangat and cut the bamboos and even hurt my leg just to break the wood into half.

That night was the most emotional part of Kem Q. I cried, i really cried out loud inside but i din make a sound. I was thinking a lot, was really emo shizz. I love to hug everyone and cry with people close to me. It was a great experience. It made me appreciate the people around me. Thumbs up to this programme but then in my opinion, it should be done earlier like 7 or 8 pm cos' late at night at 11.30, people will be really tired and they will sleep halfway through and miss whole thing. Sayang right?

And the last day came, went to Muara beach. Had this activity organized by PBB (persatuan biologi brunei). It was so-so. I like the part when we were all blindfolded and had to go through the passage of route without touching the string. AND AND AND also the part when i get to drink lime juice and the eggs. I LOVE IT. Most probably I was the one doing the drinking and eating and another guy lar of course. I guess nobody wants to do it plus i was really hungry cos' the food was really limited. Budget wah. Rachel also complain. =((( People who eat a lot surely suffer.

KEM Q IS AWESOME(cues mangga-ians and say awesome as loud as they can, ahhahaha.. they know wad i mean) KEM Q ALL THE WAY. I WANT TO VOLUNTEER JADI AJK NEXT YEAR IF I HAVE THE CHANCE. FAADZ YOU HEAR ME? LOLS.... HAHAHAHAHAH..

WE ALL KNOW ALREADY!!!! hehehe she will be the type of supporting mother who makes her kids happy... nice big double-storey house.... owns 2 dogs and a housecat *most-likely-to-be-a-lazy-one*

her sons will have hamsters and her gals will have turtles as pets... a family who loves animals!!! she will be the FIRST to marry....... approx. 26/27 years...... one of her kids maybe belongs to Rachel... (kidnapped XD)... *due-to-mixed-race/cute*

Candidate #2 : Annabelle

a mother of three..... 2 boys 1 girl =D.. her children will be very passive (never gaduh) cause something will happen to them if they do *cough**smacked-by-mother**cough* lol... Annabelle will the controlling, demanding mother who pushes her kids to their limit, mayb over their limits too (and MAYBE even her husband) to do better....

marriage will be about 29 - 30 years... 3 kids who are 2 boys and a girl... exactly like Annabelle =D... but to be more specific, it is predicted that the girl will come first....

If she kahwin orang putih, she will have 2 orang putih children i.e twins =D... she will become an orthodontist and will make braces for Dean's children.. lol.... HUSBAND??? he will work hard, then come home to read the newpaper and watch CNN... very caring but always tired from work.... there was supposed to be a picture.. but someone *cough**dean**cough* was scared that he will be killed.. lol

Rachel will be the supporting mother just like Olivia... her kids will be close with Olivia's and in the future may even end up dating each other... the kids i mean..... not Olivia and Rachel... lols

The most outgoing of all... she may get a boyfriend while overseas but it MIGHT not last... if that doesn last, then she will find the 'ONE' in her working years... It is possible that he will be Chinese, Caucasian or Malay.......... If she marries the caucasion / chinese - will have 2 - 3 kids but if its the Malay - 4 kids....

She will become a successful dentist and then specialize as a orthodontist also... Dean will send his kids to her for dental check-ups and she will pluck / extract 'bad' teeth happily!!!!! cause its DEAN'S KIDS!!!! PAIN!!!!!! =D.. its like revenge for the 'abuse'/ 'harrassment' inflicted on her by their father... lol...

will have a nice car, nice house... but will lead a very busy lifestyle.. will probably travel alot... MARRIAGE???? approx 28++ years... will be the last to get married among the others stated.. kids??? TALL... however the gender of the kids are too unpredictable... lol

No Time For Tears....

today was one BEEEEE-ZEEEEE dayyyy.... hahaha... so i went to Pizza Hut with Mei Zhu and Sabrina for lunch... its the branch in Gadong but the one not in Mall *mall-pizza-hut-has-a-higher-service-charge*... XD so yea... THEN it rainedddddd... like pouring down non stop.. luckily when we wanted to leave, God was in our favour and stopped the rain.. *THANKS* hehe..

we watch WATCHMEN... its an okay movie but i think its too long.. cause i started shuffling in my seat and msged ppl *thanks-for-entertaining-me*.. HAHA... >.<>

after that we went to Wen Zhi's.... VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT *it's-like-am-helping-advertise* HAHAHA!!!!! so yea... THE FOOD WAS GREAT!!!!!! expecially the prawn-like dish.. but its not prawn.. be reminded its a vegetarian restaurant.. =D

am trying to cut this post short cause i have homework to do plus i have Chem test tomoro and i haven studied for it yet.. XD

Today the two-year-old child died.

"But why?" we ask.

Because he was severely dehydrated.

But why?

Because he had diarrhea.

But why?

Because he drank dirty water.

But why?

Because his ten-year-old sister was too weak to fetch clean water from the distant spring.

But why?

Because she's extremely anemic... because of intestinal parasites... because of unsanitary conditions.

So why didn't the older brother go and get clean water for the family?

Because he didn't know the nearby muddy water harbored disease.

And why didn't he know?

Because he never had a chance to go to school and learn about microbes... because he had to work all day to eke out a meager crop for the family's food... because erosion depleted the soil... because the trees were cut down for cooking fuel.

And why didn't the mother took the sick child to the clinic?

Because she had no money for medicine.

Why not?

Because her husband had died... because of tetanus... because he stepped on a thorn... because he had no shoes.


~At times, we really do not know how lucky we are today to be here. To be born in Brunei, this peaceful country. To be able to grow up and live to this age. To be able to have mother and father(although not everyone). To be able to drink clean water. To be able to go to hospital when we're sick. To be able to walk with shoes. To be able to go to school and learn new things each day. To be able to breathe fresh air. To be able to use car as our transport. To be able to sleep under air-conditioned room and wake up the next day with your blanket on you to keep you warm. To be able to have more clothes than we need. To be able to contact each other with mobile phones. To be able to know why there are people out there who are not as fortunate as us with our ever-rising use of computer technology..

And the list goes on...

We can wake up everyday and open our eyes, it's not because it's supposed be like this. No, there's reason.

We might never know when the time will come. You can't be sure. In fact, no one can be sure.

I should start counting my blessings now and stop asking for more.

Be contented with what I have now.

And not taking everything for granted.

I appreciate every each and one of you who are in my life now.

I'm thankful for your existence.

Thankful for your guidance.

Thankful for your advices.

Thankful for your constant scoldings and reminders.

Thank you.

And i would really like to help people who are in need both physically and mentally. Oh and spiritually. They really need our help.

BGIC just finished and i am experiencing withdrawal symptoms... i am missing every second of BGIC.. LOVE IT!!!!!! it was an A-W-E-S-O-M-E experience plus i met LOADS of ppl... but i kinda regret now that i didn really take lots of pictures cause i like depended on other ppl's camera since their's are like super duper high definition and alll....... as SOOOOON as i can get hold of the wonderful pics of me and others in 'high-powered' gear, i will gladly post it up....

when we were in ICC debating it felt as if we were in a total different country but when the doors are opened.. i'm like.. "OHH WE ARE STILL IN BRUNEI???" HAHAHA!!!! i think it's coz of the european, malaysian, indonesian, thai and some korean ppl there.... the debate was GREAT!!!!!! the ppl from my committee is cool and 'kind'.. cause we didn't really CRUSH each others resos.. but there's a certain someone who crushed somebody's resos by saying... "IT'S SUCKS SO BADLY THAT IT BELONGS IN THE DUSTBIN!!!!!".. okay actually she's my friend.. but am not going to point fingers here.. find out by yourselves who i am talking about XD

i think the ppl in my forum n commiteee was really nice cause i belong to the human rights commitee.. so guess wat??? we have to be compassionate right???? put ourselves in ppls shoes XD

OOOOOOO!!!!!! i also met NATHAN CHASING HORSE!!!!! he is sooooo cool & calm & spiritual in a way.. when he talks there's like this feeling that makes ppl wana listen to what he has to say... the 'gala night' at the baze was A-W-E-S-O-ME!!!!!!!! its like dance like there's no tomorrow thing.... but the food there suckeddddddddd...... i think our money went into renting the place instead of the food... but OHHHH WEEELLLLL.. at least i got to dance.. XD hehehehehehe

YET, YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING.


WHY IS IT PEOPLE JUDGE YOU, WHEN THEY HARDLY EVEN KNOW YOU?


YET, WE JUST SEEM TO CARE SO MUCH WHAT OTHERS SAY EVEN IF IT'S NOT TRUE.


WHY DO PEOPLE NEVER GET ENOUGH WITH WHAT THEY HAVE?
